As part of Today FM’s Dare to Care campaign for the Irish Cancer Society, Matt Cooper was dared to write a song, and perform it live in front of an audience.
Bressie and The Strypes came on board to help him pen his track; and on September 28th, in front of a packed house in Dublin’s Workman’s Club, Matt and ‘The Last Chord’ (Bressie, the Strypes, Pamela Blake and Priscilla Kotey on backing vocals) brought the house down with their performance of ‘Answer Me’.
Matt and co raised tens of thousands of euro for the Irish Cancer Society along the way - and now its time to raise lots more – with our listeners’ help
Following Matt’s live performance, Bressie brought him in to his studio – Camden Studios – and they recorded a studio version of the song.
