When word started spreading of "kangaroo" sightings around Cork we thought people were messing.
However, it turns out there was in fact a wallaby on the loose.
A couple of days ago, a video appeared on Facebook of the mischievous marsupial hopping about near Red Hill.
Christy, who posted the video, said his Dad had come across the strange sighting on his way to work.
The local Guards thought he was drunk when he tried to report it!
Meanwhile, Araglin Animal Sanctuary were in a total panic over their little missing wallaby.
She had been missing for a whole week and sneakily escaped while the owner was on holiday.
Andrew, owner of the sanctuary, told Muireann all about how they reunited with newly nicknamed Dora.
