Digital assistants are on the rise, helping people with everything from controlling the lights in their homes to choosing what to wear.
But are they really necessary?
Andy O'Donoghue gave us a demonstration of the Amazon Echo (was it able to tell us who Matt Cooper is?) and explained why digital assistants could be very beneficial to our lives going forward.
