'Dancing With The Stars' contestant Thalia Heffernan has revealed the ordeal which led her to back the new 'Streetwise' campaign.
Thalia was the victim of a street assault in 2015 while walking to work in Dublin. She was mugged and physically attacked, an incident which had a big psychological impact on her.
She is now backing 'Streetwise', a new personal safety campaign launched today by An Garda Siochana. She was joined on the show by Sgt Kelvin Courtney of the National Crime Prevention Bureau, who explained what the campaign is all about.
