December may well turn out to be the warmest since records began. The first half of the month was marked by temperatures as high as 15 and 16 degrees celsius. If that keeps up until New Year's Eve, we may well have a record breaker on out hands.
But is it all just good luck, down to climate change, or is it all attributable to our old friend El Nino?
