In 2010, Clive James announced to the world that he was terminally ill with leukaemia and his death was imminent.
His 2014 poem, “Japanese Maple” was a poignant and touching goodbye to the world.
Two years later, he is defying the odds and is still alive.
He kindly invited Matt and The Last Word team into his Cambridge home, earlier this week.
