Mark O'Connell has written a book called 'To Be a Machine' which explores the transhumanism movement. Transhumanists believe in extending the physical and intellectual capabilities of the body, which could eventually lead to immortality.
What would all of this mean for humanity? And how would we cope with such an increase in population?
