Noel Clancy lost his wife and daughter after their car was struck by another vehicle.
Speaking outside the court after yesterday’s proceedings, he said the Government needed to introduce new legislation to make a car owner equally culpable if a family member on a learner permit drove the vehicle while unaccompanied.
