Irish women are more likely to have episodes of road rage than their male counterparts, new research by AIG Insurance has revealed.
More than 60% of women between the ages of 35 and 44 have admitted to displaying road rage, while less than half of men were found to struggle with their anger on the road.
Although the research found that Irish women are angrier on the road, it also revealed that men are more likely to break the speed limit.More than 60% of male drivers admitted to speeding at least once a week, while a quarter break the speed limit each day. In comparison just 13% of women admit to speeding daily. Dave Humphreys of Completecar.ie and Liz McHugh of Her.ie debate the results.
