To date, over 3 million moustaches have been grown and supported for Movember, raising more than $500 million to change the face of men’s health.
Movember began in 2003, when Adam’s brother and a friend decided to bring the moustache back into fashion for a month. They convinced 30 friends, including Adam, to grow a Mo for the 30 days of Movember, formerly known as November.
Surprised by the amount of fun they had and the many conversations created by their moustaches, four of the original 30 came together to make their Mo-growing an annual, official charitable endeavor by adding an important cause-prostate cancer.
