The acting minister for the environment Alan Kelly says that the proposed abolition of water charges under a new agreement between Fianna Fail and Fine Gael is environmental sabotage. In probably his last Dail speech as Environment minister, Kelly today said the decision will cost Ireland money in EU fines and lead to water shortages in Dublin.
