Back in March, Cineworld was packed out for the Irish premiere of 'Dennis Rodman's Big Bang in Pyongyang' which is narrated by our own Matt Cooper!

The documentary looks at the now infamous basketball game between the North Korean basketball team and a NBA team of former all-stars put together by Rodman himself.

Due to popular demand, the documentary will now screen in Omniplex cinemas next Thursday and there's still a limited number of tickets available at www.omniplex.ie

Here's 10 reasons why we think you should go see it:

To view never before seen footage of Pyongyang, the secretive capital of North Korea to which access to foreigners is strictly limited.

To see Dennis Rodman attack Matt Cooper in a way that many interviewees on The Last Word might have liked to have responded to him over the years.

To watch a fascinating portrait of a man cracking under the strain of taking on a project that is too big for him. (That’s Rodman, not Matt).

To endure the sight and sound of Rodman performing the most ingratiating version of “Happy Birthday” for a political leader since Marilyn Monroe serenaded John F Kennedy. (No, we’re not suggesting that…)

To see Rodman parade around the Vatican. (We know that’s not in North Korea but it is relevant to the story, we promise).

For genuine moments of high drama as Rodman puts everybody in serious danger with his behaviour (and not just Matt, as in point 2).

To cringe at once great basketball players reduced to poor exhibition style fare when they play the North Koreans.

To be amazed at the slavish devotion the oppressed people of North Korea show for their dear leader, Kim Jong Un. (They love him, they really do. And you couldn’t even see the guns pointing at their heads.)

Both Variety and Hollywood Reporter said the documentary is brilliant and their reviewers know their onions.

This is not “The Interview”. This is real. And the North Koreans don’t like it either.
