Every Tuesday Ed picks tracks from two Irish acts to feature on Ceol For the Soul.
First up this week is Gemma Dunleavy with 'Up De Flats'.
'Up De Flats' is the first single to be taken from Gemma's EP of the same name, and celebrates the Sheriff Street community where she grew up. Gemma teamed up with Dr Martens Presents for this EP, and will be performing it live as part of a live stream on the 16th July on the Dr Martens instagram.
Next up is Thumper with 'Topher Grace'.
'Topher Grace' is the latest single from Thumper, and the band took a different approach to song writing while making it. Singer Oisin said that "it’s a terrifying thing to hone your craft only to tear the rule book up, but the results were very rewarding."
Tune in to Ed's National Anthems Monday-Thursday from 7pm.
