Every Tuesday on Ed's National Anthems, two Irish artists have tracks featured on Ceol For the Soul.
First up this week Claire has picked Elaine Mai featuring Ailbhe Reddy with 'Still Feel'.
Elaine Mai and Ailbhe Reddy have been planning to work together for a couple of years now, and 'Still Feel' is worth the wait. Elaine has delivered her signature sound while perfectly blending in Ailbhe's vocals. Speaking about the track, Elaine said "belonging and self-acceptance are the two main themes of this track for me".
Next up is St. Bishop with 'Close'.
'Close' is the latest single from St. Bishop and was written after a romance ended because the timing was off. The song was started in a pre-pandemic world and finished over Zoom in lockdown. St. Bishop has a stream of new music planned for later this year that is bolder and braver than anything he's released before.
