A Delaware police officer has been caught on an in-car camera bopping away to Taylor Swift's Shake It Off. The Dover Police Department says they were reviewing dashcam footage and deemed their findings too funny not to share.
Officer Jeff Davis has been with the department for 19 years but only a Taylor Swift fan for a fraction of those.
After seeing the footage, the department said, "We decided we would share some of them with you in a new Web series called "DashCam Confessionals. We hope you enjoy this...and Taylor Swift, if you're watching...we're sorry."
The video has garnered more than 17 million views on the Dover Police YouTube Channel alone, but in case you think they were lucky to catch Officer Davis in the act, it was actually staged. Speaking about the video, spokesman for Dover Police Department, Mark Hoffman said, "This was done in fun."
It hasn't gone unnoticed by Taylor Swift either. The star shared the video with her 50 million followers on Twitter.
