A kiss and a cuddle tops the list of simple pleasures in life, according to research commissioned by Channel W to coincide with the 'Happiness' episode of Davina McCall's new series The Davina Hour.
It's true what they say; the best things in life are for free (well it might have been Janet Jackson who said that, but I believe everything she says.)
Also on the list is walking barefoot in sand, kindness of strangers, receiving a compliment, hearing from an old friend and sitting by a log fire.
The listeners of the Early Breakfast then got in touch to tell of their simple joys - have a read!
- “Paula I love going for brunch on a Saturday. It’s my favourite time of the week – myself and my husband drop our twins off at football and we have an hour and a half for just us, and we always go for brunch. It’s my happy place!” – Selena in Dublin
- “I agree that a cuddle is the nicest thing ever. Life isn’t about getting up at 3am for the hell of it – it’s so that those we cuddle have a good life. Very deep for a Monday morning!”

@sweetpmac I always feel good when I give someone my paid parking ticket when there's still time left on it that they can use. :-)
