One of the Early Breakfast listeners this morning let me know that he tried Noel Gallagher's way of eating soup; throwing Cheesy Wotsits on top to act as croutons. Now, this doesn't actually sound like the worst idea ever, but I'm still not sold.

However, it sounds a hella lot better than some of the combinations below... heathens! Periwinkle sandwich, anyone?

  • “Hi Paula, my wife eats a Banana wrapped in either a slice of ham or a cooked rashers. Gross!”

  • “Paula I still can’t believe you don’t like salty chocolate at the cinema. Yum!”

  • “Paula, I used to work in a deli, and some of the combinations would make your eyes water. Not a job to show up to after a night out – people like to eat the strangest things. Worst one was sausages and ketchup on a croissant, heated. Still have nightmare about that!”
