A survey taken by Orangina today revealed that 6 out of 10 of us bring the same lunch to work every day. Every. Single. Day. I asked the listeners of the Early Breakfast whether they fall into that 60% - but the conversation took a weird and SICK TWIST when Darren from Limerick Snapchatted me a photo of what he was eating at that very moment. What you are about to read is not for the squeamish.
Darren was in the car, tucking into a can of COLD BAKED BEANS. There was a spoon sticking out of the top. COLD BAKED BEANS?! The worrying thing was...lots of the Early Breakfast Listeners weren't bothered by this abomination. In fact - some of them agreed with Darren.
Roast beef and monster munch with little bit of brown sauce on two cuts of well buttered bread. Yum. From Tony the Greenkeeper.
Paula, I was in college with a lad from Leitrim who ate nothing but bread and butter for every meal, every day of the week. No kidding.
Hi Paulie, I've been listening to you since the start - warm/hot beans are the best. From Cormac

Paula - I lived with an elderly couple for a year when I was doing my apprenticeship. They were lovely and cooked dinner every day for us but no matter what was on the plate, tinned peas always came with it. One evening the press door was open and we counted 22 cans of Tesco best. Cheers, Noel
