Well, I am a huge fan of Blur’s The Universal but I thought, I better have another listen to Joe Dolan’s version, which completely threw a spanner in the works. I couldn’t pick! So I put it to the listeners of the Early Breakfast this morning, and they overwhelmingly decided that there ain’t no show like a Joe show!
I got so many suggestions about what covers are better than the originals that I played a few this morning... but there just wasn’t enough time to do this list justice.
