The Irish Mirror today has an article outlining the best chippers in Ireland - and out of 16, I've been to 4 of those (KC's in Cork, Macari's in Glasnevin, Jackie Lennox's in Cork and McDonagh's in Galway). After mentioning this on the Early Breakfast, listeners were quick to text in with their favourite chippers - it's never too early to talk about hot, salty, vinegary chips clearly...
Everyone has their own favourite local chipper (Grace's Take-Away in Piltown, Co. Kilkenny is mine and it has thee nicest chips ever, okay? Okay.)

Hey Paula, loving the show! My friends tell me my chips are the best ever - I triple cook them and they are so good. I even have a special seasoning for them!
