In the news today, it’s reported that there will be an extra second added on to the atomic clocks today, to keep up with the Earth’s rotation (or something science-y like that). When Helen mentioned this in her bulletin this morning, I mused that if I had a band, I’d call it Atomic Clocks, because most bands actually have really silly names when you think about it. I’m not the only one who would have, or has had a silly band-name...I mean, Foo Fighters?! What a silly name! (Paul K in Galway completely disagrees with me on this one – see below)
That could be a bit risky SweetP - Atomic Clocks? What if someone leaves out the "L" uh-oh! Navanman
Paula - Foo Fighters is a cool name - they are named after fighter planes of the same name. Paul K, Galway
@sweetpmac Paula my cousin was in a band in Kilkenny called the sexy cabbage's needless to say that didn't work for them

I was in that band of vet students "All creatures ....." - we won a student talent comp held in Wanderers Rugby club 1992.Ollie in Galway. I played lead guitar.
Hi P - I'd call my band The Boiled Angel. Frank. (er - slightly creepy name there, Frank!)
Ice Cream Headache. We were in college...we thought we were so cool. Ugh!
And special mention to James who made me chuckle after 2 hours sleep (thank you Taylor Swift - totally worth it) with this little gem:
@sweetpmac I was in a band in high school called prevention, some say we were better than the cure
