For the past few weeks, the term #Dadbod has been trending online. For the uninitiated, the term 'dadbod' describes the body-type of your stereotypical dad; 'a nice balance between having a beer belly and working out'. It was penned earlier in the year by a student in the US called Mackenzie Pearson. She writes for website, The Odyssey, and on it posted an article called 'Why Girls Love the Dad Bod'. In the piece, she describes a person with a dadbod as someone who goes to the gym occasionally, but also drinks at the weekend and enjoys eating plenty of pizza from time to time. She says, 'It’s not an overweight guy, but it isn’t one with washboard abs, either'.
The term garnered so much attention across the Internet, men everywhere were taking the opportunity to share pictures of their dadbods, and celebs including Leonardo DiCaprio, Adam Sandler, Vince Vaughan and Seth Rogan were being hailed as champions of the dadbod. If you browse through the pictures attached to the hastag though, you'll happily see that anything goes!
So now, in the interest of fairness and equality, women everywhere are embracing and sharing pictures of their mombods! Similar to the dadbod physique, a mombod is one that's neither over-, nor under-weight, and given that many of the women who've shared pictures of their mombods are actually mothers, many are proudly decorated with post-pregnancy stretch-marks and scars.

Dermot and Dave were chatting about the dadbod last week, and how it's the hot new look. Given that they're both dads themselves, they were particularly interested to find out if they have one...
