Most of us didn't think this scene would happen.
Not so long ago Axl and Slash would be seen in the same eircode together but over the weekend they played at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
But none of this nostalgia ride would have been possible if it wasn't for Dave Grohl.
Axl borrowed the Foo legend's throne after he himself broke his foot before the gig!
He even Tweeted his thanks:

It's a bit weird not seeing Axl running around in bicycle shorts picking fights with the fans. Just be thankful he's gotten rid of the cornrows.
