Mark sent us an email about his wife, Orla, and her terrible case of the hiccups.
He said:
"My wife Orla can be quite an angry lady but hiccups push her completely over the edge, turning her into a raging monster, roaring and hitting things around her. She always says after a few minutes that I have to do something. This is where I normally split as it’s going to end up my fault for being useless at curing hiccups. She had a bout a few days ago and I don’t know what came over me, but I picked her up, turned her upside down and gave her a gentle jiggle up and down before righting her. She was shocked because it stopped them immediately. She’s had them two more times this week and now ASKS to be turned upside down and gently jiggled up and down. It works every time."
We think Mark will go down in history for curing hiccups. Watch him in action:
