Vera Twomey has finally arrived in Dublin as she makes her way toward the Dail from her home in Cork.
The mother of four began the 260km trek last Monday, as part of her protest to introduce new cannabis laws in Ireland.
Her seven year old daughter Ava has a rare form of epilepsy and suffers from violent seizures.
Vera says she is fearful her daughter will die if cannabis oil is not made legal for medicinal use.
Vera, who began the journey on foot, is now being pushed in a wheelchair due to injuries to her legs.
She has also lost her voice following a bout of tonsillitis.
