Beauty and the Beast is set for release in the coming weeks.
While most people are beyond excited about seeing Emma Watson take on the role of Belle, others are not so happy about the development of the character LeFou.

Now the owner of an Alabama cinema says he will not be showing the the movie because, due to the inclusion of this character, the movie goes against the teachings of the Bible.
Sara Gonzales from The Blaze in the US says, "Anytime we (in the US) don't like something we ban it or boycott it, and I think this ban is getting a little extreme."
"You take this Disney movie that used to be a cartoon, then you remake it and people expect that it's going to be same.
"Then they see this change and they're able to latch onto it and say, 'This is contributing to the downfall of society, why did you have to change it? Why can't it stay the same?'"
