An Australian TV host has been wearing the same blue suit every day for a year on Channel Nine’s Today programme to make a point about sexism - and no one even noticed. He said: “I’m judged on my interviews, my appalling sense of humour – on how I do my job, basically. Whereas women are quite often judged on what they’re wearing or how their hair is.”
Weekend Round-Up:
This has to be one of the greatest break-up texts ever. This was posted by a Twitter user who's friend had received this break up text from her then boyfriend.
The sign off was even more terrifying, with the unidentified man writing: “I feel it would be difficult for me to change you into the woman I want and I don’t need that hassle. I wish you all the best for your journey.” Jesus, she had a lucky escape.
Number 3 was clearly the deal breaker.
And in some very sad news this weekend, prolific television producer Glen A. Larson passed away at the age of 77 after a battle with cancer.
Anyone who was a child of the 80s or not will know of his genius:
'Six Million Dollar Man', Quincy M.E., Magnum, P.I., Battlestar Galactica, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, Knight Rider, The Fall Guy, Alias Smith and Jones and Manimal.
He had SEVEN TV series on the schedule at one time!
