‘Trading Places’ happened yesterday and boy was it some day!
Every presenter in the daytime schedule switched shows, and they’ve had no say in the swap whatsoever as listeners and station bosses decided who would go where!
Information on who was going where trickled out during the day previous as listeners and the bo$$e$ at TodayFM decided on the final few swapsies.
No matter how much moaning and groaning the presenters did to the management - the decisions were final (see moaning and groaning below).
The old switcheroos were as follows:
- 5 - 7am // Early Breakfast - Phil Cawley
- 7 - 9am // The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show - Matt Cooper
- 9am - 12noon // The Anton Savage Show - Dermot & Dave
- 12 - 2.30pm // Dermot & Dave - Anton Savage & Louise Duffy
- 2.30 - 4.30pm // The Louise Duffy Show - Fergal Darcy & Paul McLoone
- 4.30 - 7pm // The Last Word - Ian Dempsey
- 7 - 9pm // Fergal Darcy - Paula Mac Sweeney & Ed Smith
- 9 - 12 // Paul McLoone - Live Xmas Show – ASH + Guests and Paul McLoone… Again!
