Have you ever practised your acceptance speech in the mirror at home? Of course you haven't (me neither). Let's pretend we do though and we need a dress for our next performance.
Well, the people at Cosmopolitan have used statistics to work out what the perfect Oscar winning dress is. They looked back over years of Oscar nominated ladies and studied the winning dresses.
The most popular components of the dresses have been put together to make one big super dress. It's black, has a v neckline, should be sparkly and un-belted with no sleeves and bare sides.
So, here it is, the dress you need to be wearing if you want to win an Oscar*
If you don't want to win, you should go for a square neckline, asymmetrical, matte, purple/brown/green/yellow/gold dress with a scarf.
*You must actually star in a movie and get nominated for an Oscar for this theory to work!
