The cast of The Bill had a reunion yesterday and it brought up a lot of feels for us.
On discussion we didn’t actually remember much about the show only that it was something that was usually playing in the background of our homes after school.
We did realise however that there were a lot of scenes where people decided to have deep and whispered conversations at the stairs in the police station.
And that there were a lot of scenes where the police would chase people into buildings and shout “OI YOU!!” up the stairs.
The stairs were a very important prop in the British TV show it seems.
We were also reminded about all of the famous people that showed their face in the series over the years.
Like Keira Knightley who starred as a 10-year-old thief in 1995:
Or Russell Brand in 1994:
How about when David Tenant played a school caretaker in 1995:
That hair though.
And we couldn’t forget award-winning James McCovy who starred in the show when he was 18, awh:
There was also a rumour around the Today FM offices that the feet in the opening scene belonged to Emma Bunton AKA Baby Spice:
That rumour may be factually incorrect.
The main reason for the reunion is that the show, which has been off air for the last seven years, aired a total of 2,421 episodes and all episodes will be made available to watch by UKTV’s Drama channel. So get ready for plenty of stair scenes lads.
What a time to be alive.
