The Irish are loved around the world and over time, Irish proverbs have become more and more popular.
We rarely refer to them here at home, but the likes of, "For every mile of road there are two miles of ditches" and "there's no use boiling your cabbage twice" do very well in places like America and Australia.
Now Taiwan has jumped on board the Irish proverb train.
There's a place called Ireland's Potato (brilliant) in Taiwan and they've translated what they think is an authentic Irish proverb on their wall.
Damn straight Taiwan, we take our marriages and our potatoes very seriously.
