Brian Dobson is hanging up his news reading braces for the final time.
Last night Dobbo read his last news bulletin for RTE, before he makes the move to Morning Ireland next week.
Co-anchor Sharon Ní Bheoláin led the tributes to the iconic news broadcaster, tearing up as she introduced a 'Best of Dobbo' reel.
Dobbo's parting words were, 'As they say I hate to go, but I'm afraid I have to leave.'
What a gent.
