Some GAA matches have often been referred to as taking place on a battlefield, or a war of attrition or just a feckin all out bloodbath! Although let's face it a hurley would not look out of place in an infantry backpack.
And we reckon Lar Corbett would have no problem leathering a grenade over a hundred yards.
So, it seems appropriate that those same jerseys have been spotted on real life battlefields.
