Eleven days after joining the Trump administration as communications director, Anthony Scaramucci is out.
The news came hours after John Kelly was sworn in as chief of staff.
In a statement, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said: "Anthony Scaramucci will be leaving his role as White House Communications Director.
"Mr. Scaramucci felt it was best to give Chief of Staff John Kelly a clean slate and the ability to build his own team. We wish him all the best."
As always, Twitter came through with the quick-fire reactions ...
Dancing With the Stars roster is getting full. Spicer, Priebus, and Scaramucci are gonna have to compete as a trio, "The Trumpeteers".🕺ðŸ¼ðŸ•ºðŸ»ðŸ•ºðŸ»

I did the math, and #Scaramucci lasted for exactly 2,400 plays of Bohemian Rhapsody.

#Scaramucci I'm still on the same roll of toilet paper that I started when the Mooch was hired as Communications Director.

Scaramucci got thrown out, lost his wife and his job.
Man, he was within a pickup truck of being the perfect country song.#Scaramucci
