I've been a Bowie fan since a teenager and saw The Serious Moonlight Tour at Wembley with a friend. The following day the same friend was walking down the Kings Road and spotted him. When she approached him for an autograph, neither of them had a pen.
"How about a photo instead?" Bowie suggested.
"I don't have a camera."
Bowie then strolled into the photo booth they were stood next to saying,
"Come on love, my shout."
