The whiney strains of Yankee-Doodle or the theme to Match Of The Day are enough to send most parents eyes rolling up into their foreheads and looking at their watch, groaning, "Jesus, it's nearly half 8 what is yer man doing driving around at this time. He better not wake up...!" and the you hear "Daddy, can I get get one PLEASE, please!!"
Well, it's gonna be kids handing a rolled up fiver to their daddy's and mammy's as they shrug them off their ankles... as the adults plead for a beer cone!
Just make sure they have ID.
The Van is currently on a tour of the UK and here's the list of Adult Ice-Creams you can get:
IcePA – A beery Mr Whippy, poured out of a classic bar pump into a pork scratching cone.
The ‘Jäger Bombe’ – Jäger ice cream in the middle, covered in a layer of energy drink flavoured ice cream.
Bacon and Bourbon – Bacon flavoured ice cream with a crispy bacon garnish and shot of bourbon to chase.
Vodka Martini – Vodka sorbet with olive flavoured hundreds and thousands.
Tequila Sorbet – Tequila flavoured sorbet served in a martini glass with a rim of salt.
The cone is made of PORK SCRATCHING! WTF?
Tim from Preston was impressed:
‘I love a pint, and I love ice cream… so the two combined was right up my street,’ said Tim from Preston. ‘The addition of the pork scratching cone was brilliant, and after the initial shock… it actually complimented the flavour really well.’
