There was some banter at the airport last night as these Irish fans celebrated John O Shea's incredible last gasp winner. We'd love to know what the Germans made of this footwear free celebration. Nothing to do with a fan feet fetish, the song is inspired by FAI Chief John Delaney and the "mystery of his missing shoes" in Sopot during the last Euros championships in Poland.
Shoes and hats off to all those Irish faithful that traveled to Germany, it was fantastic to hear the few thousand Irish fans out sing the local fans. Incredible.
