Meet Julia, Sesame Street's newest character.
Julia has autism and made her debut on the show with Elmo, Big Bird and host Alan Muraoka.
The gang are finger painting and at first Julia is hesitant about shaking hands with Big Bird.
When Big Bird asks if this is because Julia doesn't like him, Alan tells him that Julia has autism.
"For Julia, it means she might not answer you right away, and she may not do what you expect, like give you a high five."
Abby then jumps in saying that Julia does things a little differently, and that's totally OK.
While Elmo chimes in with "Julia likes being with her friends and she loves to play too!"
Then they all play tag and welcome Julia to the group.
