In a bid to rival John Lewis in the highly-anticipated advent advert award, Sainsbury's have revived an old children's character called Mog the cat for their attempt.
Created by author Judith Kerr who also wrote 'When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit' (no, really) Thankfully there are no despised dictators in this video but just loads of calamitous cat action in the kitchen.
Sainsbury's have employed Emma Thompson to narrate and like John Lewis, it has a central message - in this case 'Christmas is for sharing' and they have partnered with the charity Save The Children.
Do you think it's better than the John Lewis advert? It's a lot more fun and hasn't been made for the blubs.
