Marco Asensio made headlines earlier this week when he was benched for the Real Madrid game against APOEL Nicosia on Wednesday night.
Was it a calf injury? No. Was it a fitness issue? No.
Asensio missed the game because, after shaving his legs, he developed an infected pimple.
He effectively missed the game because he shaves his legs.
Phil Neville then revealed that he too shaves his legs after making the move to Spain.
Speaking to BBC 5Live Neville said, 'When you live on the continent, you do as the continentals do.
'You shave your legs, you get infections and you can’t pull your socks up.
'99% of people in Spain shave their legs, shave their chest, shave their arms, shave every part of their body.'
The best was yet to come however, because Roy Keane somehow ended up getting dragged into a conversation on the issue and you can see it took all of his physical strength to keep his reaction in check.
