The DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) Robotic Challenge has just finished in California. It's basically the Olympics for robots.
Judging from this video we're safe for a few years yet before we're enslaved by our metal and wire overlords.
The robots are strangely human...that is 3am on a Saturday morning after a few scoops human.
