They always say that TV reporters shouldn't work with children and wild animals, and one ITV reporter learnt that the hard way when she encountered the dangerous 'drop bear' while reporting on the tragic fires in Australia.
Asia correspondent Debi Edward went to great lengths to protect herself from the bear, donning goggles and padding as she had been warned that the animal could 'smell worry' and could attack at any moment.
Thankfully, she had a lucky escape. Not because the 'drop bear' behaved itself, rather because there's no such thing as a 'drop bear' and the animal she was so bravely holding was in fact a very cute, very cuddly koala.
