The Everton player currently on loan from West Ham has been in dispute with his ex-wife regards unpaid alimony payments.
Last night he was playing in a World Cup qualifier for Ecuador when he fell mysteriously in the 82nd minute. Team physios ran out on the pitch applying oxygen and putting him on a stretcher. It is believed he spotted the armed police surrounding the dug-out and took action.
The video shows the police approaching as Valencia is sped away in a buggy ready to jump into a waiting ambulance.
