A new service to renew your passport online will be launched tomorrow.
This means that adult Irish citizens in Ireland and across the world will be able to apply to renew their passports via the Department of Foreign Affairs' website using their PC’s, tablets or mobile phones.
Doing this online will cut out the need for a Garda stamp as the stamp from your original passport will still be valid.
Selfies will not be accepted if submitted as part of an application, your photo has to be a standard passport quality.
First time applicants and children will not be able to apply online.
You'll soon be able to get your passport renewed online, no selfies allowed! @DermotTodayFM loves @DaveTodayFM's current pic, Dave does not pic.twitter.com/T0dY71fVA9
