Nelly Furtado is BACK! Hurrah!
After a short break, Canadian pop star Nelly Furtado has a new album out called 'The Ride' and yes - of course we informed her of what that means when that is said in Ireland!
The singer told us she already knew the pharse alluded to 'a shag' but she loves saying it anyway, especially when talking to Irish media.

Nelly joined Claire Mckenna - who is babysitting the Dermot & Dave show today.
Nelly reminised about her 'I'm Like A Bird' days and also about what gave her the push to get back to writing new songs, "I'm getting back to getting in touch with why I started writing songs in the first place, which is out of a crucial necessity to understand myself".
Nelly said she is planning a UK & Europe tour later this year - so watch this space for a Dublin date announcement.
