The unsuspecting bird was strolling along on the circuit when he suddenly realised he was in the path of a few tons of oncoming roaring motorbike beast.
The incident happened at the Phillips Island stage of the Australian MotoGP. The racer Andrea Iannone appeared to try to dodge the bird but instead took it clean out with his helmet.
All we can say is "catch the pigeon" preferably not with a helmet.
