Thomas Smyth is one lucky man.
In just over one week the Dublin man celebrated new baby news, a new job and a €25,000 scratch card win.
Thomas (29) and partner Lisa discovered they were expecting their first child.
Five days later, after being out of work for a while, Thomas was offered a full time job as a delivery driver in Supervalu in Ballymun.
Then a couple of days after that, his girlfriend found a few bob and they decided to buy a scratch card, because of all their recent good luck.
Lisa bought a €10 All Cash Spectacular scratch card and low and behold - they won €25,000.

It couldn't have come at a better time, with Thomas being out of work for a while and Lisa had previously had a miscarriage, so both were feeling pretty low.
The lucky couple plan to spend their winnings on preparing for the arrival of their new child early next year.
