Lilly the cat has had quite an adventure.
Her owners were devastated when she disappeared from home in Bansha, Tipperary eight months ago.
Anita Cleary, her husband Aidan and their children Sallyanne and Tristan got Lilly when she was just three weeks old and they were in a state of panic when they realised she was missing.
The family placed an ad in the local paper and set up a Facebook group asking for help in locating their beloved pet.
Then Anita connected with the Lost And Found Animals Tipperary Facebook page and spotted a picture of Lilly who had managed to make her way to Mullingar in Westmeath, more than 175 km away!
Lilly is now been reunited with her owners, after a long and difficult eight months on the road.
Anita says she never gave up hope that Lilly would be returned safe and sound and she believes Facebook is the reason they have Lilly back in their lives.
Anita chatted to Dermot & Dave on this morning's show. You can catch the full interview below.
