Storm Ophelia ripped through Ireland last week, causing all sorts of damage.

Homes were left without power for days, roads across the country were blocked with debris and roofs were ripped from schools in the south west.

The full extent of the damage caused by the storm is still being revealed, as can be seen by these photos of an apple orchard in Tipperary.

A mix of high winds and heavy rain seem to have caused thousands of apples to fall from hundreds of tress and then come to rest together in one gigantic apple blanket.

Storm Ophelia in Ireland gathered all the apples of this orchard destined for cider into the corner of the field and left this lovely setting....

The main question is, 'Can these apples still be used to make Bulmers or will we now be facing a Bulmers shortage?!'
