The Office of An Taoiseach has been getting a serious amount of stick today after they posted a picture of Leo Varadkar loading cutlery into a dishwasher.
The photo is captioned, 'no-one gets away without packing the dishwasher around here.'
Twitter users have been ripping the p**s out of the image, which was supposedly meant to show Leo as 'one of us.'
But that plan seems to have backfired.
Leo Varadkar touches a dishwasher with the same unfamiliarity and hesitancy with which I'd touch the control panel of a nuclear reactor. pic.twitter.com/U3EPshvmts

Every time I see that photo of Leo at the dishwasher I die a little. Imagine needing to be liked that much.

I wonder if anyone in Leo's Comms unit is from humble enough beginnings that they actually remember having no dishwasher.

Did I honestly just see a picture of Leo Varadkar loading a dishwasher? Like does he want a medal? I can't afford a dishwasher.

The photo comes as the Irish Times reveals the government's Strategic Communications Unit or its 'spin department' has a budget of €5 million for 2018.
And this is they type of stuff they're spending it on.
